In this page , i will try to intoduce my country to the non kuwaiti visitors of my site , and talk generally about it , and some usefull links too.

Kuwait is a beautiful small country passed on coast of the Arabian gulf (Persian gulf as the world know it), a small beautiful desert, 99% of their people r Muslims, an Arabic country and the capital is kuwait city , the ruler is Sheikh Jaber Al ahmad Al Subah , and it have 6 main governorate .
Kuwait first ruler was crowned in 1756, he was Jabber Sulaiman Aal Subah, the family that is ruling Kuwait till now. He was usually called Jabber the first (Jabber al awl).
Before discovering oil in Kuwait, Kuwaiti people jobs were passed on diving for pearls, cattle, and abroad commerce. Kuwaiti people lived a very poor live but a peaceful one thought.
British occupation ruled Kuwait for many years thats because Kuwait was afraid of the cruel Turkish country occupation, so they asked help from Britain, and they kept Kuwait from abroad dangerous, but not until 19 3 -1961 when Kuwait was liberated and had it own constitution. But still Kuwait celebrate the independence day at 25-2 each year cuz it was the day when sheik Abdullah al Salem been the ruler of Kuwait, that he was the best ruler ever ruled Kuwait, and his period witnessed the best things happened in Kuwait history which r:
The liberation, having a constitution, being a member of the United Nation, being a member of the Arabic union, and having again the Kuwait national parliament and many more .
Later in 25 5 1981 Kuwait became a member in the Gulfen countries association, that includes also, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman and Bahrain, in the period of Sheik Jabber Al Ahmad Al Subah , Kuwait prince that is still ruling till now .
In 8-2-1990 Kuwait lost their liberation again when the cruel Iraqi invasion interred Kuwait, but they did not stay for more than 7 months, that Kuwait was liberated in 26-2-1991 one day after the independence day, so Kuwait celebrate those great days each year in one time and the happiness is doubled each year.
After the invasion Kuwait was destroyed completely, nothing can be complete their, especially the oil wells, Iraq have made them on fire before leaving, but thank god Kuwait controlled everything, the oil wells was shut up, and everything now is going on normal as before and even better.
But one thing is making Kuwait wont ever forget the Iraqi invasion, it is the Kuwaiti prisoners of war. They r in the heart of every Kuwaiti, Kuwait still wont make peace with Iraq ever till the last one of those 600 prisoners come back to Kuwait.
Kuwait, this year, celebrated their 40TH independence days and their 10TH liberation day, wish the prisoners will be back to share us the happiness of the other following days.
This is my Kuwait, the one we will always love, not only by Kuwaitis, I wanted to say here, that many from my site visitors, told me how much they love Kuwait, and how much they miss it, they were living here, in this peaceful land, but had to leave it cuz they r either Iraqis or from the people who were against Kuwait in the gulf war. For all those sons of Kuwait, I give this page, and hope to edit it better and better all the time and I will try to get more photos and info about Kuwait all the time.

kuwait great walls :

kuwait in the past faced many out side dangerous , so in the year 1798 under the guidness of his highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mubarak they build kuwait first wall . With kuwait getting larger all the time , they have to open that wall to build a nother to get more lands inside kuwait , and that what happened in the same Sheik time but at 1811 when they build kuwait secound wall. The third one was build also for the same reasons , under the guidness of his highness Sheik Salem Bin Mubarak in the year 1920 . Their is some rumers about kuwait building a forth wall between kuwait and iraq after the invasion , but i dont think that any body knows if this (FORTH WALL) really exists.

kuwait governorate :

kuwait had 6 main governorate :
1- Al Aasema .
2- Hawali .
3- Al Ahmadi : was established in 1946.
4- Al Jahra : was established in 1979.
5- Al Farwaniah : was established in 1988.
6- Mubarak alkabeer : was established 1999.

kuwait Leaders ( princes ):

1- Sabah Bin Jaber( Sabah the first ): 1752 - 1762.
2- Abdullah Bin Sebah ( Abdullah the first ): 1762 - 1813.
3- Jaber Bin Abdullah ( Jaber the first ): 1813 - 1859.
4- Sabah Bin Jaber ( Sebah the secound ): 1859 - 1866 .
5- Abdullah bin Sabah ( abdullah the secound ): 1866 - 1892.
6- Mohammad al Sebah ( Mohammad the first ): 1892 - 1896 .
7- Mubarak bin sebah ( Mubarak the biggest ): 1896 - 1915.
8- Jaber Bin Mubarak : 1915 - 1917.
9- Salem Bin Mubarak : 1917 - 1921.
10- Ahmad al Jaber : 1921 - 1950 .
11- Abdullah Al Salem : 1950 - 1965 .
12- Sebah Al Salem : 1965 - 1977 .
13- Jaber al ahmed :31 - 12 1977 - till now .
